The Ergonomist Kneeling Chair offers the perfect solution to your discomfort, allowing you to sit pain-free while working. The ergonomic design is the perfect combination of comfort and functionality. It relieves pressure in the lower back and strengthens core muscles while improving posture and productivity.

It's important to note that it usually takes about 2 weeks for your body to fully adapt to this style of sitting. We do recommend keeping your old chair nearby at first and using the kneeling chair in short increments, but after that, you’re good to go! Use it all day, every day, forever.Please be aware that it typically takes approximately 14-30 days for your body to fully acclimate to this sitting style. Initially, we recommend keeping your old chair nearby and using the kneeling chair for short durations. However, once you have adjusted, feel free to utilise it throughout the day, every day, indefinitely.

The Science

The seat of the kneeling chair is tilted at a 120° angle instead of the usual flat 90° you’re used to. This open angle pushes your hips forward and places you in an upright seated posture. Your core will engage and most of the pressure will be taken off your lower back.

Research does support improved pelvic tilt at a 120-degree angle with the knee at a 90-degree angle (a normal degree of lordosis is also referred to as our 'neutral spine').
