Should I keep my eyes open or closed when using Eyvelle™ ?
You can do whatever feels best! We recommend using Eyvelle™ Steam Therapy for 5-10 seconds at a time with your eyes open, alternating between both eyes for about 5 minutes. With that being said though, you're able to do whatever you like! If you'd prefer keeping your eyes open with constant steam for 5 minutes, 10 minutes or even 15 minutes, you can do so. If you'd prefer keeping your eyes closed, that's completely fine as well.
How long does it take to feel relief?
Eyvelle™ Steam Therapy will give you relief from the second you start using it. We recommend using it for 5 minutes at the start and end of each day for immediate relief that lasts throughout the day.
Is the steam safe for my eyes?
Yes! The steam is nowhere near hot, rather it comes out at body temperature - similar to what you'd expect from a humidifier or face steamer.
How often should I use Eyvelle™ ? Can I use it everyday?
We recommend using Eyvelle™ Steam Therapy for 5 minutes at the start and end of each day for immediate relief that lasts throughout the day. If you'd like to use it more though, that's completely fine!
How do I clean the Eyvelle™ ?
Every couple weeks we recommend you fill your Eyvelle™ with distilled water and let it completely empty the tank twice.
Can I use Eyvelle™ if I wear contacts or have glaucoma?
Remove contacts before use. If you have glaucoma or high eye pressure, consult your eye doctor before starting steam therapy. Warm mist is generally considered safe when used as directed.
How hot does the steam get?
Eyvelle™ Steam Therapy offers 4 levels of warmth, which can be selected using the heating mode button.
The default mode is no heating, which will give you a cool / room temperature mist. Once you start using the heating modes, you can select between 100°F (38°C), 104°F (40°C), and 108°F (42°C). All of which are gentle and 100% safe for your eyes.
Does it fit comfortably on all faces?
Yes! The soft silicone cup is flexible and forms a light seal on most face shapes. You can gently tilt and adjust for a comfortable fit—no dripping or leaks.
Is it suitable for men too?
Absolutely. Eyvelle™ is designed for anyone experiencing dry eyes—men and women alike. Many customers use it at work or after sports to relieve eye strain.
What if it stops steaming or doesn’t work properly?
If the device doesn’t produce steam, make sure it’s charged, filled with distilled water, and properly seated. If it still doesn’t work, we’ll replace it—no questions asked.
